Actor cum distributor Navarasan is releasing ‘Mr Mommaga’ (remake of Manjapai Tamil film) in nearly 200 theatres on 27th of this month. The main theatre is Santosh on KG Road. The film is hitting along with ‘Apoorva’ of V Ravichandran and a few others.


At the pre release meet at Citadel Hotel the twin brothers Ravi Gowda and Raju Gowda with top actor Rangayana Raghu, Naidu and Navarasan addressed the media.


This remake is produced in Kannada investing over Rs.5 crores. The director of Tamil cinema Raghavan has repeated his work for Kannada with different nativity. The film has come out better than the Tamil version is the opinion that has come at the pre release meet.


This is a film for family of six to sixty says Ravi Gowda, hero of the film. It has been dream of making a film materialized after six years. His mother suggested this title and for the first time she blessed was the immense happiness of Ravi, protagonist of the film. It is one year effort and I have hardly slept two hours in a day. The film is possible only because of the complete support of Rangayana Raghuji. I was in tears in front of his acting. I have no father and grandfather. Had the experience of both in this film he explained. I have liked the concept of this film and stood behind my brother stated Raju Gowda official producer of the film.



Navarasan distributor of this film remembered the days of meeting Rangayana Raghu with this project. He intends to remake ‘Rathavara’ in to Tamil and waiting for actor Vishal nod. Navarasan has distributed over 25 films so far.


Rangayana Raghu the key man of this film felt the team should make original film next. The concept and handling of this film is interesting. It was well made in Tamil. I have tried hard to bring in ‘Namma Thana’ discussing with director Raghavan said RR. We are living in high tech polished life. We are losing so many things of our earlier days. Elders are growing in old age home. The concept of Taata, Ajji etc is missing out. This film takes a look at it. It reminds the significance of it. This film deserves a win. For me the appreciation of audience is important said RR.



Naidu in his address stated that for those who have not come across ‘Taata’ would definitely find it interesting in this film.
